The Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association has published the inaugural edition of the North Carolina Fiduciary Litigation Manual. The Manual includes twenty-one chapters designed to assist legal practitioners with navigating procedural and substantive issues that arise in trust and estate disputes, elective share litigation, will caveats, and other contested fiduciary matters.
The attorneys at Hickmon & Perrin contributed to the Manual. Christian Perrin is serving as the Manual’s Managing Editor, authored the chapter on Uniform Transfers to Minors Act Litigation, and co-authored the chapters on Judicial Modification and Reformation of Trusts and Will Contracts. James Hickmon authored the chapter on contested Estate Proceedings Before the Clerk of Court and co-authored the chapter on North Carolina’s new Power of Attorney Act. Alec Roberson co-authored the chapters on Judicial Modification and Reformation of Trusts and Will Contracts.
The Fiduciary Litigation Manual is for purchase through the North Carolina Bar Association.
