Charlotte, NC – Hickmon Law, PC is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2013 Christian L. Perrin, Esq. will become a shareholder in the firm and its name will change to “Hickmon & Perrin, PC.”

The firm will maintain its office at 6135 Park South Drive, Suite 510, Charlotte, NC 28210.

About Christian Perrin

Christian PerrinChristian Perrin assists clients with wealth transfer, estate planning, trust, tax, and probate law issues. He also works with clients to resolve trust and estate related disputes, including representing beneficiaries and fiduciaries in litigated matters. In addition, Christian advises individuals and business entities in matters related to business entity formation, governance, and compliance, as well as represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions and private placements.

Christian has considerable experience and understanding in matters related to business planning, corporate transactions, estate planning, probate administration, estate tax audits, probate disputes, commercial real estate transactions and private placements.

Christian earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Louisiana State University in 2001 and his law degree from the University of Georgia in 2006. Christian served in a judicial clerkship in Georgia before moving to Charlotte in 2007. From 2007 until 2011 Christian was an associate at Culp, Elliott & Carpenter, PLLC. In 2011 Christian established his own practice, Christian L. Perrin, PLLC, before joining Hickmon & Perrin, PC as a shareholder on January 1, 2013.

Christian has been selected by his fellow North Carolina attorneys as one of Business North Carolina Magazine’s “Legal Elite” in Tax and Estate Planning Law for 2013. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Section on Estate Planning & Fiduciary Law and is a member of the Estate Planning Section of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.

Christian and his wife, Katie, enjoy sharing meals with friends and visiting their families. Christian and Katie are actively involved with Hope Community Church on Scaleybark Road. Christian regularly serves as a counselor with Charlotte’s Urban Ministry Center and volunteers with Hospice & Palliative Care, Charlotte Region.
